You're Welcome

you’re welcome.
you are welcome.
i have been waiting.

my wrists dressed in lavender.
the silver chimes in the open window
speaking the language of the wind.
the love of Sky for Earth—
the way he surrounds her
invites her inside of him,
brushes her rolling mountains
with the breeze, digs canyons
with his perspiration and
tickles the soft flesh of her
open mouth as his sweat rolls
into her open sea. she sees
his sacred offering and
welcomes him in.

you are welcome
i have been waiting
to receive you.
i roll my head back,
neck open, vulnerable
waiting
for your full lips
to voice your gratitude
to worship and be worshipped
to give thanks—
so that i may welcome you in.
you are welcome
you’re welcome
to come in.
